Coach tour of Paris

Enjoy a guided tour by coach of the ‘City of Lights’, passing by the majestic Notre Dame cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece set on the banks of the Seine, and the Louvre, brimming with priceless works of art with its striking glass Pyramid as a focal point. Our tour finishes in Montmartre, the artists’ quarter, filled with narrow, cobbled lanes, hidden gardens and cosy restaurants. Montmartre was, until the turn of the last century, a village in its own right, and visitors can stand on the steps of the spectacular white-domed Sacré Coeur and view the city spread out at their feet. Admire the Moulin de la Galette, one of the last remaining windmills in the district, which inspired countless artists over the years.

Guided walking tour of le Marais

Le Marais is one of Paris’ oldest and most beautiful districts, dating from the 13th century. The area rose to prominence in the 16th and 17th centuries as the aristocracy flooded in to build their magnificent mansions, but fell into decline soon after. Nowadays, it has been restored to its former glory and is again regarded as a quirky and bohemian part of Paris with an incredible mix of architectural styles. The neighbourhood is home to many designer shops, fascinating museums and the old Jewish quarter. We travel by coach to le Marais, where we enjoy a guided walking tour of its historic houses and winding lanes. Take a stroll around Place des Vosges, the beautiful square which holds Victor Hugo’s house, and admire the Village St Paul, renowned for its antique shops. We finish our tour here at lunchtime, and you have the rest of the day to explore under your own steam.
