Our excursion is by rail to Interlaken, gateway to the spectacular Bernese Oberland and nestling in a picturesque setting between Lakes Thun and Brienz at the foot of the famous towering peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and the Jungfrau.
Glacier Express
We embark on an excursion aboard the world-famous Glacier Express. The journey traverses richly varied landscapes, from snow-capped mountains to rushing Alpine streams, peaceful meadows and dramatic passes.
Zürich and Bern
Today our excursion by rail takes us first to Zürich. After free time for independent exploration and lunch, we take the train to Bern, Switzerland’s picturesque capital, which is perched above a bend in the River Aare.
