2009 holidays based on Summer 2008 EXCHANGE RATES
With the value of sterling having slumped against the Euro and Dollar, the benefit of booking with Great Rail Journeys becomes even more apparent.

All of our 2009 holidays were priced on currency rates applicable in Summer 2008. Since then, many currencies, including the Euro, US Dollar and Swiss Franc, have strengthened so much against the Pound that if we were to cost these holidays today (or if you tried to buy a similar package yourself) this would add up to 25% to the prices. So booking now means you enjoy the benefit of our very competitive prices.

No surcharges GUARANTEED
Unlike many other travel companies, we will not add a surcharge to your holiday to counteract rising prices. Once you book and we confirm your holiday, we guarantee not to increase the price - regardless of what may happen to fuel prices or exchange rates. This is particularly reassuring in today's economic climate.

What's more, once your holiday booking is confirmed, if we reduce the price of your holiday for any reason, we promise to pass this saving on to you by way of a reduction in your final invoice.

You can therefore book in complete confidence knowing that no matter how much fuel prices fluctuate or exchange rates weaken, you won't have to make up the difference and you may even get a refund.

So much is INCLUDED
As a company we believe in doing things properly, so we are always clear about what our holidays include and we make sure there are no hidden extras. The price of our holidays includes all transport and accommodation, a range of meals and excursions, leaving you with very little extra to pay when you are away.
